school days are back again

ahhh..its the weekends now,its so relaxing.5 days had just passed.school was fun but boring.what am i saying????????well,i don't have homework and parents do not allow me to use the computer.the other sec2s all went online.surprisinly.and welcome back marcus yong!!the june holidays had been fun guys,thank you for all the fun.didn't sms u guys coz bill gonna explode other wise i would have done it.haha.i had my first home econs lesson and i cooked lor mai kai,damn yummy.mmmm....i played chapel on tuesday,played my redeemer lives,for all you done and i can't remember.haha.play the first two songs best but dunno what happened,the other two songs,screw up.next wk playing again,haiz,scared got mistake again.then playing for church too,so fun.haha

As teenagers, close friends and family play a really big role in our lives. These are the people who will stand by you and support you when you are at the lowest point in your life. Family will always be there for you, but friends can be lost in just a blink of an eye. One wrong statement may tarnish the once strong relations you had with each other.

As you get to know people better, you tend to discover their strengths and weaknesses. And very often, the weaknesses surface more rather than the good points. Perhaps its cause we tend to take things like close friends for granted. While some peoples weaknesses dont really bother you much, some do. And this posts a really big obstacle to any friendship, as you may start to get irritated with one another and the friendship seems to break down. Therefore you have to build up that friendship once more, talking to that person to clarify things a little will strengthen you relationship a whole load!

Although it sounds so easy, it could be quite difficult for that friend to change his weak point or maybe he or she doesnt want to. That is what makes life so full of ups and downs! Everyone has their own personality and some may change over time. I hear from people saying that so-and-so has changed. But wait a minute! Has that person changed for better or for worse? You have to evaluate and think. If he became a more sociable and friendly person then praise God! But if that person went into bad company and start being a bad guy then its time you helped him. You could pray for him and try to guide him back onto the right path. Friends, especially close ones, are vital in our development as young exuberant youth. We need friends to support us and be there for us. Imagine a world with little friends to count on!

This brings me to my next point, which is to make more friends. Perception or first impression of a particular person is the most important starting point of a friendship. If you have a good impression of someone, it will be so much easier to make friends with him. In contrary, a bad impression obviously wont be a really good starting note. Then again, impressions are just what you think. That person may not turn out to be as nasty or as sweet as you had first imagined him to be. In fact the sweet person may turn out to be nasty and vice versa. Im sure some of you had experiences like these. As in you thought someone was fierce and evil and every bad thing you can think of. But as you make an effort to get to know him or her better, you find that Hey! He isnt that bad after all!. So just give that person or people a try. There are many testimonies about such experiences around, such as church camp 2006!

In conclusion, close friends are an important asset and we really need to guard it with our lives. Never loose a friendship but its always good to gain more. So my main theme is about keeping the old friendship and secondly to make more friends.

school is bad for u

hey guys! sorry i havent blogged in like 24565633543189 weeks. i just finished cheena tuition!(EWW) hohoho! today is thursday! weekends are coming real soon :) we've got our youth day coming up soon too! holidays again! haha, really missed them a lot. this week seemed like eternity with all the school and SYF trainings. both ale and i will be performing at the national stadium on saturday. hawhaw. i tell you, its the most spaZtic thing lah. it drains out so much energy from you and what do they give you for break time? mouldy bread lah! wad else rite? i nearly died coz i thought that greenish and yellowish cobwebs on the bread were chicken floss! YUCKS LAH!! just thinking bout it makes my skin crawl. when my cher found out he asked everyone to give it back, but he nvr gave us anything else to eat lor! so my whole class was like starving for like what....5 hours? coz we didnt have our lunch.

ale's school is doing some really cool stuff! darren, sandra and felice will see on saturday. haha. ale, i noe where to find you liao! yay! haha. hope we all can meat somewhere on saturday though, coz i get real lonely up there. haha.

all that SYF trainings result in burns and sleepiness. i was caught sleeping in class for one of the 1st times. 2 times in a row by my english cher. i thought he would give me a scolding or something but he actually told me to go BUY A NICE COLD MILO. haha. oooh that was really good:) and it was even before it was recess time! haha, theres a nice thing in that g-man cher after all. HAR.

i have two new chers this term, one is a super emotional history cher, and the other is a chao ah beng biology cher. the history cher seems really pro and much better than the one last year. i sure hope i'll do better for history this year! although I STILL HATE IT THE MOST. hehe.

i wanna go out on monday! its like the only holiday in july lah! so who wants to? lets plan one if can okay guys? not all of us may be able to come though:/ i wanna watch Superman Returns! it looks so cool with lex going "bring it on" and the bullet bouncing off Kal-El's eye. HAHAHA.

argh, tmr is friday. its gonna be a long day for me coz i got badminton training :( but i know most of u guys have a short day tomorrow so im happy for you guys :)

i have to admit that their wedding was the best i ever attended.it was short sweet and the message got through to their parents.amazing!!

it was at church of the ascension at saint andrew's village.the place was nice.and all those who spoke had accents..HAHA.and the american pastor was kindda corny.but it was a great wedding(:

then the reception was fun.martin was really greedy and started eating before anyone else.heh.but the mini pizza thing was superbly nice.and martin also dropped a peach tart.HAHA.then he picked up the tart part but didnt pick up the disconnected peach.

and suddenly marcus yong was squashing it then suddenly he realised he was squashing a peach.HAHA so funny larh!

oh and JOLENE!she seems to be fitting in already(:good for her.it was really great.but she's a little quiet larh.haha.hope she comes to church regularly and be our friend.

and sweet staring with marcus and sandra was really fun.but that stupid machine there was really cheapskate.i saw on guy playing.he was freaking irritated.HA!

i finally got paul's really stupid corny "logic" game.but i was attituding some people larh.so sorry!cause i got it 11 times but i dont know whyyyy.so i finally got it.so sorry sorry i got all crazy!!

and tmr there is SCHOOL!oh man..i dont want school!its another 10 weeks until september holidays.oh well study hard people and we can play hard in september(:yay!

Okay, so like. I don't really have anything to update about, cos I didn't go for the um, super bonding! Meaning the Saturday, Sunday & Monday during which i was at China! Haha. Well it sure seems like you people had damn alot of fun, huh? [: Oh well! I'll just have to wait for the next one! Haha. Which is kinda like tomorrow, I think. Are we going out or not! i shall post about yesterday!im always posting a day late..anyway.

we met at 12pm at cineleisure orchard.i didnt really know what was going on before i came cause i was a little late.all i know was they were at the arcade and the calls i made ended up with lotssa noise in the background(:

when i got there some people were Q-ing up to buy food.HA!then when it was their turn almost all of us went over to the counter to order.so we ended up hogging the counter and the people behind were a little pissed.heh.

so the movie was really really funny.such a teenage show.with the people having crushes and stuff.HAHAHA!!the girls who i know made a lot of noise were shuen.lien.melissa and alethea.anymore?cause they saw this cute guy in the movie and kept saying he's cute!and i was beside them..

yeah so after the movie.marcus popped out of nowhere.but was in school uniform.so he couldnt go into arcades.but he tried borrowing clothes though..then we had to go meet sarah at suntec city.

shu en and li en ditched us cause one had to study and one had tuition at 4pm.so we left for suntec.took 171.

when we reached suntec huijuan lead us to the carl's juniors.for once she got us there.hahaha kidding!!then we all bought those really humongous burgers.which costed a bomb:(and we talked at the restaurant.and played no IQ games.

oh and paul,martin and daniel!!!!super shits larh..came up with this dumb game which got everyone flabberghasted.dont know how in the world you actually get what the next object is.so frustrating!!better tell us by YE camp(:

after that the guys went to an arcade while the girls went shopping i think.HAHA!and we saw two ah lians who were doing paraparaparadise.i tell you they dance like chickens..normally you move your legs in momentum with the arm right.these two were shaking their asses off and using their elbows.so in the end they looked like chickens trying to fly!shall elaborate more about them on sunday.its hilarous!

and we all headed home.still trying to figure out paul,martin and daniel's game of SIMPLE logic.well that proves we have too high IQs for such no brainer games(:

so that was basically the outing.not much of fellowship other than the carl's junior part.more of movies and arcading.yeah anyway it was special!really great..YAY!

this is the last week of holidays already:(and for all the fun i had over the weekend!thanks to YE people.

actually im done about yesterday.but i shall type a little more.okay yesterday sandra and amanda came back from china.thanks to marcus that we got the info and exact time they touched down!ha.and shirley and shuying are back TODAY.

ice skating

I LOVE YESTERDAY A LOT!!!

ice skating was more than a blast.it was a blast blast(:we had so much fun!!

well we met early at 10am.some of us were there a little earlier so we got the joy of observing people strolling in.stroll stroll..

yeah then we went up to the skating rink.then the guy who was in charge of the ice skates was mute vocally impaired.haha.and he looked like a woman but in the end was a man.so funny!!HAHA.

then we all tied our skates reeeaallyyy tight and went onto the ice.they were so tight i couldnt feel my feet.

okay so lets talk about the stuff other than going round and round in an anti-clock wise direction on the ice(:

then mel didnt know how to skate and if you let go of her she'll most probably scream scream then fall flat on the ice.so she just kept clinging onto lien.HAHA!!

and paul was really determined to get the ice skating technique right.he was trying so hard and i think he finally got it!!hoorah..

then the twins were being really bad.they kept pushing people down!and this time their target was none other than lien.they push and push!!dont you feel bad.later people cry you die ah!!i didnt dare push anyone..what if they fell and cried.then i'll feel really bad!

yeah..and we went on like that for about 2 hours?after that all of us went to the arcade.where we all spent soooo much money on the games.i think we stayed there for almost 2 hours larh..so long!and jiansheng is a really great dance dance revolution dancer.haha.

then we all also played many rounds of daytona racing game.jiansheng once again was really good.i sucked(:and lien claims she's damn good at beginner level!but still lost to jiansheng.i think..

lunch was very wierd.we took really long to decide on where to eat and what to eat.so we decided to sit in one round outside the level two toilet and take away any food we wanted and gather back there to eat.

we all sat and ate..and started playing broken telephone where stupid messages were passed all over.daryl buys thongs?!and most of them didnt really got said out at the end.haha.

then i had to leave so i dont know what happened after i left.but i felt the ending part was a little awkward.like "okay we got to go!".then everyone just stood there not knowing what to do.then "okay bye!".and some left while others went back into the arcade.

so wasnt it a blast blast?i think it was so fun!

IN CONCLUSION, i think the twins are fitting really well with the heehee girls already!so its not just me who's "changing"(:and thanks to paul and martin who organised it!yeah and really had great fun just talking and helping people up when they fell!!

camp rocked

hello one and all, this iswas ur advanced welcome party of the church camp! yeah, arent u guys all getting the church camp withdrawal symptoms now? i am. haizz, i cant stop thinking bout all the fun we had at camp lor. i miss my bunk, i miss playing games at night till morning with all my good friends, i miss the jacuzzi, i miss the super hih class male shower room. i miss the freezing cold swimming pool. i miss Fred Dav, i miss seeing the cutie little sheperds kidz (NIGEL!!!!!!) and playing games with them. i miss talking with the heehee gurls! their so fun. haha, with the polar bears, murderers, and pigs on the loose, it was reali very memoriable.

well, its all over now and i simply miss everything. cant wait to see all u guys at YE this sunday. which reminds me of the little ice skating outing organised by paul and my brother! THE WHOLE YE IS INVITED!!! :D so yeah, pls drop by, tell them or me whether u guys can make it on saturday morning 10 am okay, thx.

okay, im gonna atell u guys all bout wad happened on day minus 1 of the camp okay? the advanced party was made of the Li family and the Ang family minus hui juan, my sis and joshua. in the morning, we drove together to malaysia but not quite to THE LEGEND hotel yet. we visited a sweet secrets shop to buy a cake for uncle joenyen and i(we were the b-day boys) it was kinda funny coz every 5 minutes my dad would go outside to the car park and check if anyone had stolen our car. when we arrived there, THE MAN showed us around the whole club. that was when jon and my brother found a really really sweet secret passage to get to the jacuzzi straight from the boys bunk which was actually so far away from the sup washroom(which was also linked to the girls bunk). i tell u, i nvr took one bath in the toilet at the boys bunk :p
so yeah, we after that we did alot of pool coz it was actually free at the other hotel nearby XD the 1st thing uncle joenyen did after putting his luggage down in the rooms was to get to Legends and use the weights room baby!

later on at night we had dinner at *some place* which i forgot the name, bud the food there was nice :) after tt we went driving around the place as the night got darker coz my mum said we had to find a place to supply us durians for the Durian Party tt uncle keng yew always mentioned.

when we finally got back, we went to legends again to celebrate the bday boys' bday. tt was when my dad opened up the wine bottle:D i pleaded him and i finally got to drink 1 cup of wine:) (not to be confused with whiskey) js kept hoping tt i would fall drunk i dont noe y which i most certainly didnt. XP after that we ate some delicious chicken wings and jon taught us how to throw the chicken bones away without a trace, the grenade style.

after tt we played marvel VS capcom, my brother and i were the characters and js and jon were the players(the players would control the characters) i tell u, js cant control for nuts coz jon kept hadoken-ing me and js kept forgeting to say block so i kinda died. later on wad more could we do but to slp. the nx day we all went breakfast *i forgot where* and after tt we went to the super cool gym, tt was went the rest joined up with us.

so yeah, tts all for the minus 1 day of the camp:) speaking of all the fun camps..i have one other badminton camp coming up which is like tmr. tmr till friday evening, i reali dont feel like going coz i still miss our rocking church camp! bud yeah, no choice..i will still be going ice skating on saturday though :p im kinda in a hurry so sorry i didnt add any colour or bold or italics or wadever.

i miss church camp..

i feel that its kindda anti-climax-ey to end the camp on sunday.cause like we have to wait one week to see each other again..its like four days of togetherness then we get cut off to 6 days of not seeing everybody.hmm..

well as gerald says..its natural to feel sad and stuff cause after camps we're normally high and happy.then we're forced back into our working and somewhat boring schedules again.

but thank GOD for msn.we're able to chat online.i think i use too much of it.heh.and some of our parents are getting a little frustrated cause we're on the com too much?dont know..but i shall cut down(:

oh well.im like left with one essay and i should be done with my work.and i got to finish reading one book.i hate essays!!

its a long wait till churchies meet again.and this sunday is fathers' day!!hehe..

i miss the big flies..its fun squashing them!and the baby room with two levels.ahh so fun over there(:

but its back to work..next week is play week!i shall finish up my stuff now.

the girls played pig in the afternoon of the first day, the guys came over on the first night. second night was taiti tournament in the function room thingy! hahaha so sorry [:

umm, overall, it was pretty much really fun! and yeah, alot of new friends were made too! like for example, ummm. uhhhh. okay nvm i wont example. haahha.

and ummm the nights were really fun too! like, the first night, the girls in the bunk played pig. and like omg it was super hilarious hahahaa. esther and i progressed reeeaaaalllly fast. [:

umm, the second night, the guys came overr. and we played pig again! it was fun this time too, and i improved! heheheh [: dao dao dao! and yeah. grace taught us a new game! polar bear, heeheehee. haha its quite cute lah. but at the start everyone was like "huh how do you play? repeat repeat!" haha. but we were fine after thattt [:

and the third night... uhhh. we used the common room thing. cos the adults didnt like the idea of guys in a girls' dorm. so yeap. it was pretty fun, we played lotsa spastic games. hahaha. like DOG & BONE! it was really spastic. hahaha. and whacko [: whacko was really really fun, hahaha. sorry all my partners whom i didnt call out for! hahaha. i wasn't informed [; and yeah after that ummm, jiansheng marcus fel and i talked talked talkeeddd [: hahaha it was fun.

and um yeah thats basically what we did during the nights. im lazy to update the days, so yeah. hahaa. umm. the sermons were good! fred davids. hahaha. and uhhh. yeah the praying part was really scary hmmm. but it was cool [: new experience! haha. oh and the group sessions were good too! learnt lotsa new stuff about other people [:

and yeah thats basically it. oh and the games! floorball was fun haha. and umm dont even mention captain's ball, please. hahaha.

COGS camp 2006

BOOO..we're back and im not very happy!heh.partly cause its back to work.i see LIEN and ALETHEA had great fun tagging the tagboard.

i shall thus answer their question.haha.COGS camp was super duper fun!a lot a lot of things happened both good bad and neutral.but i shall touch on the good ones though!

kayss..first day i was there early.cause dad was in charge and stuff.had a nice 8 course lunch chinese style.haha.then we didnt bother to go for the collection of keys cause we already had our room opened.so we slacked i guess.yarh.then games was so cool.like we played captain's ball.my team JOY(gerald.shu.jonathan.sandra.shaunald.en yao.eunice) were against PEACE(huijuan.mel.cassandra.esther.nathaniel.darren.stephanie.martin).it was chao fun cause we won..whoops i forgot the score.

yea then we washed up..oh btw.the guys room was so sucky.we had flies all over.and air con stops in the middle of the night.see how sucky it was?!ha.yeah but i kindda miss the flies now..oh man:(but anyway, dinner was alright and we had a sermon session.well we had this speaker called rev. fred david.i think he's a real good speaker cause he kept my attention and delivered the topic real good.haha.after that we went off to the girls' dormitory to play PIG!haha.it was so funny but the guys got chased out of the room by parents.but like whatever larh..what can 20 people do in a room?aiya..hoho.so in the end the guys got down to sleep.

so the whole day was a little raw.but the most fun part was the PIG part.it was damn funny!!haha.

okay next day.marcus birthday.breakfasttt..it was so breakfasty.sandra and felice gave him a kueh birthday present.HARHAR.then was the sermon again.it was about prayer.then had leisure time.i dont recall doing anything right?yeah then was lunch already.no comments.harhar.after lunch,YE had to take care of sunday school kids cause their parents were busy doing men and women stuff.the kids were real cute.i like NIGEL.he's like so so cute.taking care of these kids was super funny.we played floorball later on.i think my team sucked at that game.like there were so many racket game players but we couldnt control the stick.and shu en was their goal keeper!okay no offense.hahaha.oh and dinner was dinneryy.sermon that night was real special.i'll tell you why..

ever seen aunt rosalind(R) lead worship?she's super good..yeah and she shared that her friend's mother was a buddhist and like she'll go to the temple medium once a year to ask about the children's "luck" or smth.so like after many years.aunt R's friend became a christian and on that same sunday the friend's mum went to the temple medium again.so like when she asked about the life of her children.the medium counted and had an answer for the friend's brother but when medium tried to count the friend's life(baptised on the same sunday),the medium could NOT count.and no answer was given.this stuck me cause aunt R's friend became a christian and when her life was given to GOD.the medium had no chance on predicting her life.that's cause the devil has no more control over her.

yeah then another thing is.the speaker,fred david(FD),shared a testimony with us.there was this woman who got baptised and she was pregnant.yeah so when she went back after being baptised her husband got angry with her.then the woman had a miscarriage.so the husband(believes in black magic) thought that fred david did smth to his unborn child.and went to the church to find him.so when they met.FD saw that husband's hand was holding smth.but didnt know what.so they went into the room to talk and FD's church leaders surrounded the man.like man was in middle of circle and FD together with preacher were talking to man.soon the man got so angry he lifted his fist with smth inside and almost hit FD but didnt.his hand froze in mid air inches away from FD's head.and immediately man turned around and walked out of the room.in fact clinched in man's fist were stuff used for black magic and if it hit FD,fred david would have died.so you see how powerful GOD is?cause the church leaders were actually praying for the man when he was talking to FD.

okayy next.after sermon aunt R went back up to lead another song.and like the worship got so deep aunt R almost went into tongues when aunt poh ling(jeanette's mum) went up and said she had a vision from GOD.she said that blessing will come from heaven as a curtain of water..i didnt quite get it but it was amazing.then FD prayed for all the leaders of our church.this was a thrilling experience.like FD's prayer was super strong that people got slain.as in so filled with the holy spirit that they collapse in overwhelmness.many people watched in amazement.my first time seeing such things lor.haha.okay so that was a really special night with the Lord.

yeah then we had time to play again.this time we got a room.and like we played until late.some people were watching world cup while others were playing polarbear.yeah..then we had to go sleep larh.i dont remember much already cause this post is really getting very long.

third day.breakfast which was breakfastyyy.then sermon again.then it was leisure again.damn.i forgot what we did in this leisure slot!!sorry..yeah mostly play larh.lunch was 8 course chinese again.then went back to play room for whole afternoon.we skipped games time and just had lotssa fun.then we went swimming.like 20+ guys and girls in a not that big pool.it was so cold.yea then guys went into the jacuzzi(sp?).it was nice and warm.okayy so we were late for dinner.BBQ one.it was quite nice larh.heh.oh then talent surprise.my dad was the MC and when he was asking for volunteers.for some reason i went up?!haha.and i became a judge.HAR.well people did real great stuff.our youth did a fantastic skit(jon.paul.martin).reverand soon!!!hahaha.okay so people got prizes for participating and i was voted best judge?!!!as if..i talked crap.heh.okay so we went for fun and games in the game room again.games were dog and bone.simon says.and alot of talking!!fellowship cause we didnt want to waste time playing cards..then we had so much fun we all only slept at 5am.

woke up real late for breakfast.i was so tired i nearly slept standing up during worship.and like i couldnt listen for 5mins of the sermon.so i gave up and left the ball room.and went back after a long while then we were dismissed to pack our stuff.before packing we took a whole group photo.then packed stuff and checked out.then shu and the people going back by coach went off first.people like me who didnt required coach did a kallang wave to entertain them as they sat in the coach.oh well.and that should be the whole camp!!hopefully i didnt miss out stuff.oh and those little gossippy details..you will just have to ask peopel yourself!sunday it is(:

okay.so in conclusion.what i wanted to take away from this camp was to make more new friends.i think i achieved it.getting to know people like nigel and nicholas from sunday school and people like esther who fit in so well with us and eunice and enyao who were in my group!also grace who taught us polarbear..jeanette.andrew!sarah and huijuan too.shu en for being a great whacko partner(:melissa for being so funny.and many more who i didnt know i came to know in one way or another so much better.and i found out little kids like clement and en hua are real funny things.and of course you sec twos<3 i think i've neglected you all a little.sorry..okay?(:

omg omg omg people! we're like, less than 48 hours to camp! heheheh. so exciting! we've got to celebrate marcus' and shaunald's birthdays while we're there okay. hehe. with like, cakes nd all. but then having it with the whole YE is another issue lah.

okay..its the second week of the holidays and i have some time.

yay.this thursday is church camp!its going to be fun fun fun.but some people arent going:(i bet if those people went..it would be a whole lot more more more more more fun!!!

oh and those who arent going.you all can drive up to malaysia to join us all right?

oh and we finally got our A&W settled!!!hooray for us..

glad some people bothered to watch the FRENCH OPEN.its so fun to watch!i hope federer wins(:and hingis too..

oh and praying for shirley and shuying in cambodia or is it vietnam?i think its camdodia..and rachellll my godsister(:who is in UK and cant go for church camp..aiyaaa.

oh and yesterday.the church camp briefing was real funny.they had a lot of typo errors.they make the place seem so near with the enlarged not-to-scale map.then there's the WHOSE taking coach.so off lor!i thought its WHO'S taking coach.and WHOSE driving.isnt it WHO'S driving..hahaha.and the OFFICIAL START OF CAMP they forgot to underline!haha.and yea..BUFFET!!hahaha..lien and charissa with all these funny stuff again!!

oh well..that was on a lighter note.anyway i still have some homework to do!like reading my literature book.heh.shall trot of to read now.see you(:

helloo..its the holidays and the first week is almost over!

anyhow.next week there's church camp and we're going to malaysia(:

i think its going to be real fun cause i'm going i just have the feeling it will be.this time we'll be bunking in one big room right guys??haha.its just great.

oh well..just cant wait for church camp.yay!!malaysia truly asia...

oh and people get to know more people this camp.so that YE will be so much more united(:step out of the just-being-with-this-person-all-the-time zone and strengthen the friendship between people who you arent really familiar with.i will try to do that(:how 'bout you?

oh and the nights will be crazy..with those going over to people's rooms and turning the room into a "gambling den".hoho.so fun!!
