arent u guys happy?

hey guys! guess wad? our holidays are finally here again. dont u guys just feel so great? i mean, it feels like just ytd when we were all performing at paragon and stuff. we have reali grown much closer since then. cant wait for the nice activities like church camp and stuff. haha, dan is trying to organise sth with us, sth bout Xmen 3 so tell him when u guys are free okay guys? bud isit just the boys or the gurls too i dont noe, go ask dan, haha. it feels nice to be at home in the morning once again, i can slp more and wake up later now:) haha. i feel like going out and staying over now tt the holidays are here :)

gee sorry i havent posted anything for so long, i've been kinda busy the past few days with projects and more eXaM pRePaRaTiOnS later on in the holidays :/

gee ytd was reali kinda fun i guess, haha. at 1st i tot it was gonna be real stony coz like, we had to be with our family and stuff. snd came in the end but ale didnt come :( im sure if she did come there would have been a whole lot more of laughing though. oh and snd, just coz its a family thingi dun mean u cant come. sure u heard this like 1357854324553 times bud like, "we are all brothers and sisters in Christ" haha. bside, im sure "all the boys want u" ( the aunty Kf style) haha. oh and felice came as per normal.

we had dinner at church bud didnt reali eat much, after tt js, nat, shaunald and i went to paulz house :) haha, i tell u, it was the fun-nest thingi ever! haha. 1st we played halo and then we played black jack with real fake monopoly money. joseph was like sucking all the money from all of us lar. he's like professional and js and shaunald keep betting all their money and busting their cards. hahaha. i also screwed to burst as the banker and so we all decided it was failed and went to play star wars on Xbox. haha. the Emperor was hiding among the buildings and stuff like that. oh shaunald! ur good at han solo! hahaha. and tomyam noodles and kimchi soup taste great. hahahaha

damn it lah! maple got some server check thingi, haha. i shall go play other stuff then, not like some ppl who onli can play one game and an instrument with strings altough its a holiday, i still got lotsa badminton training, and holiday hw. haha. so it neutralises i guess...bud i still hate the holiday hws!!!! X( haha. just heard tt there'll be 12 boys in one room for the camp! tts so shiock lah! oh no, tt sounded wrong, heh

last night

hellooo last night was rather fun wasnt it!

haha..there was a crazy free loader guy called ONG!stupid larh free load our sausages and drinks and bread.and we named him sausage fan..hohoho.

well the barbeque-ing was fun.and cleaning up was fun too.but most of all we had fellowship(:yay.

anyway went to macdonalds after that..tried to spam people with bluetooth but no one accepted it.other than RAYSON!haha..who was some gangster looking guy.and we quickly rushed out of the clementi macs..so scary!thought he was going to bash us up.cause we sent some old man who was half naked picture.heh!

well..had a lot of fun yesterday.felice said it all so i shant elaborate.anyway.JS im not angry with you(:just dont hit people so hard next time k?haha.

oh well.today's church MAY be interesting.cause its some mission symposium?dont know..

happy birthday shaunald, welcome to the 14 club? haha.

uhh havent blogged in a long time sorry. oh ya and like nowadays the blog's quite dead...

today's like the first day of the holidays! haha. so happy holidays! :D

okay, let's talk about today's bbq! haha. i reached church really early, at like 4.30! then i like, stoned. haha. then i saw aunty kf so i helped her defrost the food. then nat and fiona were there too so we all went to defrost satay. haha.

then jiansheng came and he waved? haha. then we all defrosted the food. heh. then marcus, shaunald, daryl and sandra came so we started bbq-ing. haha.

at first me and sandra were sitting there and we had nothing to do then david told us to do the satay things. so yuck la the fats. i never knew satay was made up of so much yellow flabby fleshy things. ya then i was putting it n the grill then i felt like pranking someone and since jiansheng and daryl were there so i just wiped it on them. unlucky gits.

we were eating and then marcus went to stuff jiansheng's phone in the mud (cos it was really muddy.) yuck la.

we went to sit at the field and then played bridge. then they started a tai tee tournament. me and sandra were eliminated at the first round geez. we were the last table to finish the hand and then everyone crowded around laa so hard to breathe and think. and then daryl was damn shit. what.. put this put that then like in the end i became a LOSER.

then all the losers went with daniel to play bridge. haha. then more losers came and then there were too many losers already so we played the number game! as in only the sec 2 group.

then actually the losers of the number game were supposed to play twister la but then dont know, some guy said that its sick. like the positioning.

ahh ok then aunty kf told us to clean up so we "threw away" the ice by like throwing it all around hahaha. funn funn.

then afterwards we went home la (:

FAITH

A teacher of mine once told me, something that I will never forget. He told me that knowledge is actually made up of 2 parts. The first part is fact, the second is belief. When someone believes that something is true, this is usually due to obtaining sufficient evidence or proof that has managed to persuade his thinking. Thus as his belief becomes a fact, it becomes imprinted into his brain as knowledge. Yet however, sometimes we can believe in something and yet it might not be a fact. Taken as truth until proven otherwise right? And yet at the same time, there are universal truths that are still not believed by people. An example would be the belief in the middle ages that the sun revolved around the earth, yet is has always been an eternal fact that it’s the earth that revolves around the sun. Yet when your belief is backed up with a fact, one gets an intersection of both worlds and that knowledge becomes faith.

You might be saying that this has nothing to do with whatever I am going to say next but in actual fact it does. I am sure many of you have read or seen in the media about that controversies which have been surrounded the book the Da Vinci Code by Dan Brown and the upcoming movie starring Tom Hanks as the lead. My belief that the theory as described in this work of fiction is blasphemous but the book is great. I honestly have read most of Dan Brown’s works and I acknowledge that he is a great writer who is able to capture the imagination of the reader with the many twists and turns in the plots. The keyword here is fiction. If you look for this book either in the library or your local bookstore, you would notice that it is placed under the fiction category. Doesn’t that explain it all? If it is fiction, although the book is written by a great writer, why should it be taken as fact? The theory is definitely not a fact as explained in the very genre of the book. How can it be taken as belief? One might say that my view in indeed biased as I am a Christian after all. However if what the book said was true, wouldn’t it be placed under a more suitable category? And of course there is tons of evidence both from religious and non-religious scholars, academics if you would say, which contradicts the theory. Yet there is none concrete enough to support it. Doesn’t that explain it all?

Like I said earlier, knowledge is a mixture of belief and fact, I have my own beliefs, which I personally feel have been supported by fact, either in “hardcopy” or simply by experience. That is simply what I believe and what my faith is based upon. But isn’t everything about faith after all?

hello people.i am so free this week and probably will be next week too.life after exam rocks!

its just slack the whole day...but whatever.i cant make it for the prayer meeting at SJSM tonight cause i have piano lessons.kindda disappointed cause i really wanted to see the church and meet new people..

and erm this sunday i am playing in the sunday school with daryl.then after that we can A&W around man.seems quite exciting!wheee..

i suppose everyone's exams and tests are over by this friday??yea..its going to be fun.

i cant believe term 2 is going to be over in just 1 week and 2 days.its so super fast!it was still yesterday that i was blue over going back to school and now its going to be the holidays again.but i like it!!

this years church camp will be extra fun.cause i am going! no cause i have the feeling it will be(:i cant wait actually but then again..i have lots of training and hmwk.oh man!!

anyway.so fun this holiday will be.hmwk and all.and im sure we all will get closer to GOD and to each other through the camp.

yea so its just 2 more days to go in school..very boring!!oh and its mid-week.hehe.

Okay lah this is quite important so listen up all you sec2s. Okay you see, somebody said right, that some people are starting to question why we come to church, for God or for friendship. Then like me/we started thinking lah. Are we doing going to church for friends or God?

I don't know if every one of us can truly say that we have been putting in more for God than for friendship, although through all of you we can see our faith strengthening. For me, i do think i go to church for God, and like you fun(ny) people are the so called "extra-benfits". Although it is thrugh God that we can actually get along after Godknowshowmany years right, it should be also through God that we can get closer. I think we all should start thinking why we are going to church, for if we go to church for friendship, wouldnt it be better if we just met and not go church?

And also, do we serve God through because almost every sec2 is doing it? Okay heres an example(to the person involved,don't take this to heart). Okay there was one day, we were talking. Then suddenly someone said. "OMG EVERY GUY KNOWS GUITAR EXCEPT ME!". Frankly that statement kinda pissed me off real bad lah. Cause like, if you are going to learn guitar cause everyone is, DONT DO IT MAN. But if you do want to learn, learn because God tells you to or you want to serve God in it.

Okay so this should start making us ALL think, is God or friends more important? Although i cannot be sure that God is the reason why i go to church(and im working on it), I do think he is the reason.(abit chim ah that part). As for all you others, go and think. If he is not, GO AND WORK VERY VERY VERY HARD TO MAKE HIM YOUR 1ST PRIORITY. As for those who are certain, HELP US WHO ARE NOT THAT SURE TO BE SURE.

Okay im sorry if this post is a lil depressing/extra, but i think its really relaly important.
