hey! here's photos from our bbq at the twins' about some time ago, honestly i can't remember when because that's how far we're lagging. (:

anyway i think we all had fun and stuff. in my opinion, the best part, besides the fellowship and company of really funny people, was the bbq stingray.

when the rain kinda stopped, we left the room because it was gonna close as it was getting late. we sat at the playground instead.

as i painstakingly post the pictures, i am suddenly reminded of why i switched to livejournal.

anyway, i'm looking forward to the more outings to come over the long holiday, if we're not too caught up in our own lives outside of church. (:

hello hello hellooo! was actually waiting for like someone to send the pictures of the sec 4 bbq night then can post the pictures but garhh, still havent got them yet. nvm! today is the awesome of all awesome days coz my last business exam is finally over so i can likeee so totally party pleaseeee!:DDD


okay this week was quite a handful. twins and shaunald flew off on monday. its quite funny, jian sheng suddenly got me to help out in the baby camp thingi(VBS) and overnight, i suddenly got involved in everything. at first i thought my week was gonna be totally free and boring studying at home but in the end, i ended up helping out with this... baby camp. HAHA sorry i just loveeee to call it that!


so yeahh, on tuesday we went down to help set up and prepare the place for the kids the next day. we did stuff like colouring turtles and fishes. and someone made a pink fish with a nose and lipstick too AHEM. we also painted some picture of like the sea, the sea bed and the divers and sth like that. put damn a lot of effort into it but turned out that it was only for decoration! such a..wasted effort. but it was alright i guess, coz in my opinion the children made it all worth it:P


wednesday to friday was the actually VBS thing. the sec fours who helped out in it were felice, jiansheng, jolene, nat, sandra and i. there were also the other guys like saul, cheryl, li en, eunice, vanessa, esther they all. never thought i'd sing one way this many times in my life. almost sang it twice a day everyday for the kiddos for their worship lah. now my voice is like going going going..... one thing i really loved about the kiddos is that they actually really sing along. like even if they dont know the song, once they get the hang of it they will start to sing along and its really just too amazing. and for one way they were really enthu and like awww mann i just love them lahh. if only YE was like that too, singing loudly and stuff, it wouldnt be half bad!


Nat and sandra also led worship for the kiddies too. for Nat, i think you did a great job at leading lah. like aunty karfoon keeps saying, you're a natural! HAHA. just remember to kiss-that-mic! think sandra also did a really nice job too! be more confident of yourself and you'll be fine! and like, you're singing isnt off lah! actually, you can sing what!:D hope yall can consider worship leading next time too so i wont be the only one: ( we need more singers yoo!!


apart from the worships, we also helped out in facilitating and taking care of the kids. like there were 2 main groups, the upper and lower primary wasit??? hahaha. anyway, jiansheng jolene and i helped out in the younger group while felice nat sandra helped out in the older group. think these small kiddos were really cute and adorable lah. i know its not good to show biasness but it was obvious who the more popular ones were! haha those like nigel, andre, manuel and others! i also got to know quite a number of kids too. kids like wang ching, angel, ariel, joanne and of course, there was vanessa ghui there too, and not forgeting my mum's students xinying and sylvia!


all in all i think i really enjoyed helping out in this baby camp thingi. thanks jiansheng! for suddenly getting me into it! HAHA. really had fun playing with all the kids, taking pictures with them, eating their food for them(hehh), helping them make keychains, teaching them dance steps, talking with them and being their friend. i think i'll probably become more enthusiastic towards the shepherd's kidz because of this:D ohh and if any of yall have pictures of the VBS please post them okay!:D


today was the last day of the baby camp. didnt manage to go with them in the morning when they did their activity at the airport coz i had an exam. went to church in the afternoon to join them and continued the usual activities. after the camp ended it was a bit anti climax for me coz i had to like rush back for my dental appointmentt and missed dinner with all you other guyss!:( im getting braces soon yall! got mixed feelings about it... hope everything turns out fine! went for scaling this evening and the dentist gave some funny green juice that im supposed to rinse my mouth with when i wake up and go to sleep. its funny, it smells just like uhu glue? damn nice to sniff lah. HAHA.

HELLOOOO! the week after O levels endedd :D feeling good not!! and yes i've decided to update hahaha.

yesterday's YE was quite nice. the sec4s are backkkkkk!! ((: finally had a band with more than 2 sec4s? its been a long long time ehhh. and yes worship was quite good me thinks :D very good to those who played hhehehe ;)

after that was viewing a video by darlene zscheskkzxzxzIDONTKNOWHOW TOSPELL! yeah it was about worshippp. then broke up into our groups to discuss and stuff. then like martin asked this really cheeeem question, "what does it mean to glorify God?" sounds easy to answer ehh, but then it wasnt that easy lol.

yupp okay that's about it HAHAHA! short post ftw (: enjoy your holidays people! it was hard earned :D

oh yeah one more thing..

hi everyone! gosh this blog fail luh, it was alive for like a few days and now its dead again sigh!

so anyhow, o levels are ending tomorrow!!!! OOPS i meant thursday for bio people too hehe :) i know i shld be feeling rly excited about it and all, but somehow im not. maybe its cuz i know i didnt really put in my all for o's so its like, my life during o's and my life post/pre o's not really that much of a difference...

& its pretty sad cuz if you think about it its like. youre nvr gna return to your secondary school as a student ever again! and 10 years (in my case) worth of SC really is quite alot to leave behind, in terms of memories and friends and everything.. no??? quite a bittersweet affair, i guess. but then again dont be too sad cuz everyone/most people say that jc/poly/wherever is usually really fun so thats sth to look forward to! :) but before that we have t get our results back firsttttt :S :S :S :S :S scared 4 lyf!!!!

on a lighter note, camp's in less than a month's time whoopeedoooo. excited? not excited? haha lets just hope it wont be as screwed as the last one that WE planned hahahahahaah that was rather sad..... i have a feeling this time's gna be different somehow, but i dont know if its good/bad/neutral different... :/

church on sunday! uuuuuum nothing out of the blue lah. oh but its quite nice to see that the secthree musicians (eg Saul and Andrew on sunday) are becoming regular faces in the band! hahah everyones growing uppppp :) soon we'll be YE's oldies!! and getting married! and having kids and sending them t school OKAY i shld stop now.

hey theree! hows everyone doing! its 8 more days till O levels is offlicially over! 7 for those who dont take bio! cant you just taste that finishing line!!(huhh?) anywayy, im posting cause this week i've sorta got no papers already! pretty free coz i've only got the mcqs left!

well today was chinese for the higher chinese peaps and those retaking! for the sec 4s particularly - sandra felice and alethea! i wonder when jolene's chinese b is!

so tmr is the human geog paper and friday is the lit paper. all the best to those taking them! we've come this far and its really just a little bit more until its finally over! so hang in there yall and keep trusting in God!:D

yeap shaunald! Os would have ended by 14th! haha. im really looking forward to the holidayyysss in fact im sorta already getting into the holiday mood! really hope this holiday is gonna be the bombbbbb! (or for daryl, booms! HAHA)

heyyyy! its good to see that we're finally back:D its been a long time that this blog has been on hiatus! now that its alive again lets not let it die off so quickly again!(or even die at all) its nice to see how we've come such a long way from when we 1st made this blog in december 2005!


alright more on yesterday, it was sth quite interesting with Isaac leading the BS. hope you guys dont find him scary already! coz hes actually really nice and funny:D after BS the bunch of us were just attempting to study SS. guess it wasnt really a success coz we get distracted easily!

hellooo! finally we're back :D after 3198213 years of hiatus ehh. and i dont know what to post here, cause so much has happened during the time between last valentine '07 and well, NOW. but as of now.. daryl, nathaniel, marcus, melvin, marcus Y, alethea, felice, jolene, sandra are taking O levels. ALL THE BEST FOR THE REMAINING PAPERS AHHH!

OH last year, us 1992ers planned YEcamp2007 (: which was at pulau ubin. and uhhh dont remember much thanks to my terrible memory but i know we had alot of fun planning and staying up till 5am trying to complete the camp booklet and getting touched by the holy spirit and stuff like that. guess we learnt quite alot! :D

and uhh alot of new people in YE like recently? i think. uhh there's samuel, the guy who did up the YE notice board. there's cheryllin, the NUShigh tracker. there's damia, the fairfield guy who played every game in a LAN shop. there's chengxi, who i have yet to knoww heh heh. there's natalie ng, who happens to be super tall and is the classmate of our dear darren. and hmm since valentine's 2007 there's been the yearly new additions to YE. namely, the sec1s 2008.

which reminds me, amanda and kimberly left for Queensland University in err.. queensland, australia larh HAHA. and jeannette, aunt pohling and uncle kelvin migrated to australia )): and uhh alot of guys went to army.. ernest, kenneth, benlow, paul who elsee?

okay like my update? HAHAHAHHAHA at least i gave some highlights right :D

yupp so yesyesyess after Os it's going to be so so so darn awesomee! ((: i cant wait either. just do your best and finish those exams!!!! we need an outing soon i swear HAHAHA.
