COGS camp 2006

BOOO..we're back and im not very happy!heh.partly cause its back to work.i see LIEN and ALETHEA had great fun tagging the tagboard.

i shall thus answer their question.haha.COGS camp was super duper fun!a lot a lot of things happened both good bad and neutral.but i shall touch on the good ones though!

kayss..first day i was there early.cause dad was in charge and stuff.had a nice 8 course lunch chinese style.haha.then we didnt bother to go for the collection of keys cause we already had our room opened.so we slacked i guess.yarh.then games was so cool.like we played captain's ball.my team JOY(gerald.shu.jonathan.sandra.shaunald.en yao.eunice) were against PEACE(huijuan.mel.cassandra.esther.nathaniel.darren.stephanie.martin).it was chao fun cause we won..whoops i forgot the score.

yea then we washed up..oh btw.the guys room was so sucky.we had flies all over.and air con stops in the middle of the night.see how sucky it was?!ha.yeah but i kindda miss the flies now..oh man:(but anyway, dinner was alright and we had a sermon session.well we had this speaker called rev. fred david.i think he's a real good speaker cause he kept my attention and delivered the topic real good.haha.after that we went off to the girls' dormitory to play PIG!haha.it was so funny but the guys got chased out of the room by parents.but like whatever larh..what can 20 people do in a room?aiya..hoho.so in the end the guys got down to sleep.

so the whole day was a little raw.but the most fun part was the PIG part.it was damn funny!!haha.

okay next day.marcus birthday.breakfasttt..it was so breakfasty.sandra and felice gave him a kueh birthday present.HARHAR.then was the sermon again.it was about prayer.then had leisure time.i dont recall doing anything right?yeah then was lunch already.no comments.harhar.after lunch,YE had to take care of sunday school kids cause their parents were busy doing men and women stuff.the kids were real cute.i like NIGEL.he's like so so cute.taking care of these kids was super funny.we played floorball later on.i think my team sucked at that game.like there were so many racket game players but we couldnt control the stick.and shu en was their goal keeper!okay no offense.hahaha.oh and dinner was dinneryy.sermon that night was real special.i'll tell you why..

ever seen aunt rosalind(R) lead worship?she's super good..yeah and she shared that her friend's mother was a buddhist and like she'll go to the temple medium once a year to ask about the children's "luck" or smth.so like after many years.aunt R's friend became a christian and on that same sunday the friend's mum went to the temple medium again.so like when she asked about the life of her children.the medium counted and had an answer for the friend's brother but when medium tried to count the friend's life(baptised on the same sunday),the medium could NOT count.and no answer was given.this stuck me cause aunt R's friend became a christian and when her life was given to GOD.the medium had no chance on predicting her life.that's cause the devil has no more control over her.

yeah then another thing is.the speaker,fred david(FD),shared a testimony with us.there was this woman who got baptised and she was pregnant.yeah so when she went back after being baptised her husband got angry with her.then the woman had a miscarriage.so the husband(believes in black magic) thought that fred david did smth to his unborn child.and went to the church to find him.so when they met.FD saw that husband's hand was holding smth.but didnt know what.so they went into the room to talk and FD's church leaders surrounded the man.like man was in middle of circle and FD together with preacher were talking to man.soon the man got so angry he lifted his fist with smth inside and almost hit FD but didnt.his hand froze in mid air inches away from FD's head.and immediately man turned around and walked out of the room.in fact clinched in man's fist were stuff used for black magic and if it hit FD,fred david would have died.so you see how powerful GOD is?cause the church leaders were actually praying for the man when he was talking to FD.

okayy next.after sermon aunt R went back up to lead another song.and like the worship got so deep aunt R almost went into tongues when aunt poh ling(jeanette's mum) went up and said she had a vision from GOD.she said that blessing will come from heaven as a curtain of water..i didnt quite get it but it was amazing.then FD prayed for all the leaders of our church.this was a thrilling experience.like FD's prayer was super strong that people got slain.as in so filled with the holy spirit that they collapse in overwhelmness.many people watched in amazement.my first time seeing such things lor.haha.okay so that was a really special night with the Lord.

yeah then we had time to play again.this time we got a room.and like we played until late.some people were watching world cup while others were playing polarbear.yeah..then we had to go sleep larh.i dont remember much already cause this post is really getting very long.

third day.breakfast which was breakfastyyy.then sermon again.then it was leisure again.damn.i forgot what we did in this leisure slot!!sorry..yeah mostly play larh.lunch was 8 course chinese again.then went back to play room for whole afternoon.we skipped games time and just had lotssa fun.then we went swimming.like 20+ guys and girls in a not that big pool.it was so cold.yea then guys went into the jacuzzi(sp?).it was nice and warm.okayy so we were late for dinner.BBQ one.it was quite nice larh.heh.oh then talent surprise.my dad was the MC and when he was asking for volunteers.for some reason i went up?!haha.and i became a judge.HAR.well people did real great stuff.our youth did a fantastic skit(jon.paul.martin).reverand soon!!!hahaha.okay so people got prizes for participating and i was voted best judge?!!!as if..i talked crap.heh.okay so we went for fun and games in the game room again.games were dog and bone.simon says.and alot of talking!!fellowship cause we didnt want to waste time playing cards..then we had so much fun we all only slept at 5am.

woke up real late for breakfast.i was so tired i nearly slept standing up during worship.and like i couldnt listen for 5mins of the sermon.so i gave up and left the ball room.and went back after a long while then we were dismissed to pack our stuff.before packing we took a whole group photo.then packed stuff and checked out.then shu and the people going back by coach went off first.people like me who didnt required coach did a kallang wave to entertain them as they sat in the coach.oh well.and that should be the whole camp!!hopefully i didnt miss out stuff.oh and those little gossippy details..you will just have to ask peopel yourself!sunday it is(:

okay.so in conclusion.what i wanted to take away from this camp was to make more new friends.i think i achieved it.getting to know people like nigel and nicholas from sunday school and people like esther who fit in so well with us and eunice and enyao who were in my group!also grace who taught us polarbear..jeanette.andrew!sarah and huijuan too.shu en for being a great whacko partner(:melissa for being so funny.and many more who i didnt know i came to know in one way or another so much better.and i found out little kids like clement and en hua are real funny things.and of course you sec twos<3 i think i've neglected you all a little.sorry..okay?(:
