recap 2006
hey friends!!
2006 has been an awesome year dont you agree??so many outings and stuff like that.so as the year comes to a close..today's 30thdec2006, i shall recap most of the events YE has had throughout the year kay?because i figured i wont have time tmr to do so.heh heh.
so here goes!
felice14thhahaha.anyone remember this??it was like way back in january.well i guessed we had fun didnt we.going over to felice's house to party and play squash and stuff like that.and having pizza for dinner.haha quite cool.and we gave her really cool presents right?HAHAH!!i thought that day was really really meaningful.forgot quite some details already.
bbq at mel'sanyone remember this??not sure if you guys do.but yeah.it was also really really way back in febuary.haha.some of us went over to mel's place for a bbq.then erm we had food and fellowship.then there was also a ping pong table and playground.HAHAH!frost came over too.i remember some people playing pepsi cola while i was talking to people.dont quite remember who though.hahaha and mel..MAGS!!!hahahhaa.funny(:
easter2006had an awesome time being an angel!!haha the whole production was totally great.i think we only had a few weeks to prepare??but overall the makeup and whole act was really up to standard.HAHAA!loved the attitude everyone had..and that was to perform for GOD's glory!super super fun(:all the practices and stuff.great job YE!
bbq in churchthis was like on the 27th of june.haha.barbeque was fun.sausages and bread and lots of nice food.hahahhaa.and the taiti tournament by paul!HAHAHA.great entertainment man.yepp.loads of details i kinda forgot!hahaha.blame it on my bad memory(:
mission monthi think this one was that sunday where we did that mission stuff.like pretending to be missionaries.well isnt really a YE thing but haha.its on my calender so i just added it in.but it was quite cool right.flying in the bus-plane thing to a school.then getting checked by gerald and his dog.HAHAHA fun!!
churchcamp2006hahah this was really one of the best times of the year.i need not explain further right?HAHAHHA.everyone went for it.and had so much fun!and the pastor..what's his name ah.canon smth smth!yeah he was super good.we all had so much fun together as a youth group.staying up all the way till 5am on the last night.was really really a great time of fun and laughter!heh.oh okay not everyone went for it.some friends were overseas as i recall.rachel right??and i think erm li en.yeah!HAHA.
iceskating(june)haha this was like the post camp activity.organised by martin and paul i guess.was really fun(:still can picture it in my mind.all the pushing of people by the twins..HAHHAHA!those 2 are such bullies.but still.im sure everyone had fun right!then sitting on the floor for lunch.super fun!!and arcade too.daytona!whoots.haahhaha.had so much fun man.
she's the manhahha this one was rather funny too.watched she's the man with YE once again.such a funny cool show.some girl pretending to be her brother and her brother was away or smth like that.very complicated plot.but i get it!cant explain in words though.its tough to explain.then had carl's junior for erm lunch i guess?haha and paul/martin/daniel with their stupid guessing game.got me all confused!heh heh.
~okay we're half way through the calender already.haha see so much happenings in the first half of the year!and i think it really bonded us so so much as Youth Explorer.this year was the only year i ever had with so many outings.hahaa cool cool(:okay moving on..~
fishbowlhahaha this musical was really cool.rachel acted in it!i thought she was one of the best singers, if not the BEST!hahahhaha.the production was quite okay.i thought the story line was abit -_-".but anyway nevermind.they did a really great job!hahahhaa.i forgot if we had supper after that but yeah.had fun at fishbowl:)
FOP2006this one was way cool.don moen was the guest guy for this year along with another group is it?dont remember their name.the performance was great!with prayer for our nation and loads of songs.oh and people prayed in tongues lor.like the whole place was filled with people speaking in tongues.must be from those big churches!HAHAHA.sounded freaky but cool!hahahha.
national day2006must thank the yen family for hosting us man!HAHHAA.their house is super chao chao nice.how many floors??and the open air rooftop.woah freaking cool.then alethea was performing in the national day!HAHAHA.we kept trying to spot her but couldnt.heh.and erm the food was great!and the fellowship was great.haha.double whacko was hilarious.i remember benedict walking towards audrey then she started screaming like MAD.hahaha.she thought benedict was the whacker and wanted to get her.but she was wrong.super funny!!
bbq at amanda'sone fun fun day!played tennis.whoots(:super fun lah.and erm the bbq was quite fun.helped out a little on the bbq-ing part.hahaha.daryl rocked at cooking i guess?he was doing the sausages and chicken and almost everything.then there were the rest of the people just happily enjoying whatever was being cooked!hahah such lazy people but its fun(:water bomb and games were quite cool.there was pingpong and squash courts too.oh and shoot shag or marry up at the house!HAHAHHA chao funny(:
cookie sellingthis one was quite fun too!HAHHAHA.everyone made cookies the day before!the twins JS and nat made out cookies.sorry i couldnt make it!you guys did a fantastic job with the cookies.i think we managed to sell all of our stuff and earned about $500+.woahh amazing isnt it!and that was for charity.im sure everyone felt super good after that!HAHAHHA.cool.
mid-autumnhahaha this one was funny too!there were performances and lanterns and stuff like that.super cool!and some of us were like road marshels??HAHA funny.they had to wear this jacket thing which made them glow!haha cool eh.yeah.my lantern had some holes in it cause i burnt it!HAHAHHAA.oh plus it was super hazy.that was the time when haze was around.oh and it was the night when it went all the way up to PSI150.woahhh fun man(:
mel's birthday dinnerhahaah.happy birthday mel!although it was belated.but was really glad we could celebrate it with her.hahaha.dinner was at billy bombers.and i ordered some burger thing.ate until super full!HAHAHA.then after dinner went over to heerens.somehow my sis and i got swapped.she was with the guys and i was with the girls.hahaha.so in the end the girls went to take neoprints while i took care of their bags.HAHAA!funny.anyway it was one cool evening(:
confirmationwhoots!one day to remember forever(:all of us got confirmed!HAHAHHA.and now we're all 100% anglican members of the church.praise GOD for helping us go through the lessons and stuff.haha was super happy that day!!plus we got presents.hahaa fun eh!!

step upwatched step up with the guys.GUYS ah.hahaha.overall the movie was great.with all the fantastic choreography of dance moves.although the storyline was kinda weird but still loved the show!HAHAH.nat went crazy after that.from trying to dance like the lead actor to drunken fist.haha but it was hilarious.dinner was at the food court.HAHA whoots!lovely evening(:
ECPoutinghaha this one was way way way fun!met up with everyone at the macs.haha turns out i and some guys were the latest.ahhaha.went to rent bikes!HAHAHA.then rode in one direction.soon after paul and li en arrived.so i decided to go pick them up.after that everyone rode in the other direction!HAHA.cam-whored on one of the jetties(jetty).went to the beach where lots of fun stuff happened!HAHAHA.nat and his vulgar ehhh.haha!dinner was at subway while some went to macs.some sat on the viking after that.hahaha.shu was so horrified.you should have seen her face!HAHAHAHA.hilarious.
amazingracehaha fun fun!our group followed the girls group.and we slacked.only went to a few stops.hahahah.but it was fun!cam-whored on the bus back to SAcathedral.ahhaa.and waited so long for the prize giving.so retarded!and when it finally got to our turn to receive the prize.turns out that i became amanda's bf?like haha funny!but oh well.went to vivo later on.HAHA NTUC GANG!super funny.arcade was cool too.haha i love YE!
happy feetwas kinda last minute.msg-ed twins js and nat who were already out whether they wanted to catch a movie.sorry for not informing the rest about it cause it was like LAST MINUTE.7pm was i told that i could go out.hahaha.but i think the movie was really cool.like the penguins and the songs they sang.haha.but i did realise that so many parts of the show contained some underlying meaning that no young kid would figure out.anywayyyy the show was fun(:HAHAH!
escapeanother one of those BIG ye outings.hahaha.had alot alot of fun!was kinda raining at the start but still we managed to rides most of the rides cause the rain subsided.was kinda afraid of the rainbow at first.hahaha but sat on it at the end of the day.got really wet trying to play the bumper boats cause some stupid ah bengs and NAT were shooting me.caleb also!hahhaa.but super funny.i bet all of you remember everything so i need not say every detail right!HAHAHA.the train ride back was fun too(:
castingcrownsthis outing was fun yea?hahaha.was a little disappointing cause we didnt get to see them LIVE but only through some stupid screen.haha.but we saw tim!!HAHAHA.and we had supper at the nearby coffee shop.quite cool!hahhah.yeah then i dont know what else to type here!!
wearethereason!performed at forfar heights' christmas celebration!haha.we are the reason once again.i thought it was kinda fun except for the part where the stupid stage lights keep shining into my eyes.we did a great job yea?didnt really spend time shopping there.dont know why.but the balloon sculpturing people did a marvellous job too(:
YEcamp2006-fruits that lasti guess this is the highlight of YE the whole year.the best of the best!!hahahaa.had so much fun socialising and also learning about how we should have the fruit of the spirit.amazing job camp com!!i'd say the camp couldnt have been better.hahhaa.im sure everyone knows the details once again so i shant go on.if not it'll take me ages to get this posted up.
bowling thing by paul & martinwent out for bowling at 1pm.supposed to go play laser quest but ended up spliting into 2 groups.the larger group went to martin's house while 5 of us went down to orchard road.we needed to do some stuff and also meet the people who were meeting us there.hahaha.fun!accomplished out tasks and had fun supporting my dad too!HAHHA.
CCISthough i wasnt there.i know it sounded really really fun.you all said it was boring but i guess you guys had so much fun playing cards at night.and daryl!!you and your smses ahh.ahhahaa.i wished i were there to spend the time with YE but sadly i had smth else on.ahhaa.
christmas party06party was great.food was great.everything was great!the games and all were excellent.must once again compliment the girls for everything.its been awesome spending time with YE once again.hahaa!!
oh well.i guess that kinda summarized YE2006 unless there's another activity coming up.i think GOD has really been with us throughout the year.from making us not extend the camp to a 4D3N camp.otherwise we would have been caught in the flood.must really really praise GOD for that.ahhaha.yepp.and with this.i look forward to an even better YE 2007!!
